NOISE PROTECTION

Hearing protection is obviously a primary concern in the workplace, where Health and Safety rules demand stringent responsibilities on employers. However, even in home environments or places you frequent may be such that you feel the need for noise control because that noise is outside your own personal control.
Hearing protectors are the obvious solution, but there are many forms available and then you may well not be aware of full range of possibilities and their relative advantages and disadvantages.
This is especially so as there may be other things to take into consideration, such as wearing other protective forms of equipment such as e.g., hard hats, dust masks and eye protection or even just glasses or hearing aids
Of course, one thing to remember in all this is that it could be the effect that lack of noise protection for yourself could lead to problems for others. For example, loss of your hearing through being subjected to excessive noise could mean that others start to be affected.
This incurable hearing loss may mean that your family complain about the television being too loud, you cannot keep up with conversations in a group, or have trouble using the telephone. Eventually everything becomes muffled, and you may find it difficult to catch sounds like ’t’, ‘d’ and ’s’ and therefore confuse similar words. Social situations can become very difficult for all parties concerned.
Should you have concern that you are subject to noise that may well have a detrimental effect on your hearing capability in the longer term or the effect it is having on others then call us today.
